On stage at Rugby Theatre, Henry Street, Rugby.

Directed by:       Judi Walton

Musical Director: David King

This operetta is an irreverent parody of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice in Greek mythology.

The action takes place on Earth, where Eurydice is abducted by Pluto (in disguise); on Mount Olympus, where the gods are bored by their luxurious existence; and Hades where Eurydice is pursued by Jupiter (in disguise) and life is more riotous.

The show is a highly disrespectful romp and includes the famous “Can-Can”
